Bounce problem when Bounciness is 0

Im in the process of making an 'angry birds' type game.
...but I'm getting a problem with the blocks, ground and the ball. When I shoot the ball it successfully knocks over the block but when the block and ball make contact with the ground they bounce uncontrollably and higher with each contact with the ground.
I've set all the settings in 'Physics - Bounciness' to 0 on Ball, Block and Ground, but it doesn't help.
Please Help!?

I'd double check all the Bounciness settings. Are some actors un-locked on the scene? If so you'll need to adjust their bounciness individually since they would be instance actors.

Building on what @jamie_c mentioned, even if they aren't unlocked actors, changing the bouncniness in an instance of an actor will fix to that value. Any changes you make to the prototype won't affect the instance. So go into any instances and see if the bounciness attribute is greyed out or white. If white, click on that attribute and revert it to prototype.
