Help with Inkscape

i have an issue with inkscape,

i have two objects in the layer with what Inkscape says is the same stroke amount but you can clearly see they are not, i have not resized the objects.

    I see that the first object is the grey rectangle with a black border. Is the second object the thinner black border around the bottom-right of the screenshot? If not, can you highlight it and take another screenshot?

    @Bowhill Games I'm a Mac user and don't know Inkscape, but I've used or tried just about every vector drawing and paint program released... so, here's a punt:

    The border around the bottom rectangle is probably dark grey the same as the background.

    Change both borders to blue or something else to check.
