What happened to SpriteAttack?

Hi,
I'm sure a good chunk of us have used @SpriteAttack's inkscape tutorials on art in particular the stickered thread in the forums. I just got to the end of the thread. Clearly he was leaving and there hasn't been an addition in months. There is hint of skullduggery and when combined with another thread I read about GS development from July 2015 (that started out as a rant by @Wyrmfire ) I am worried about what goes on. So, so that we are in the know (if not violating anything), what happened to Spriteattack?

I still speak with him frequently, he's just not involved much with the forums anymore. His Inkscape tutorials rock and he still is active on that blog.
