I'd like to apologize to you for the recent outages we've been having. We're working with our hosting provider to move to new improved servers that should make these problems a thing of the past. Thank you for bearing with us. We will now bring you back to your regularly scheduled game creation.

It would be nice to see a yellow post about the status of a patch for .8.8. I'm not updating until the long list of problems are fixed.

My game is still playing exactly the same as far as I can tell. For me, this was the smoothest update yet. Some of the previous updates were pretty brutal, where I had to rewrite a bunch of code.

Some people are having trouble with Timers, but mine seem to be behaving properly.

The other problem seems to be the "resolution independent images" feature, which is creating blurry images for the older devices. I am too far along in my game to redo all my artwork for the iPhone4, so I am just going to keep going.

You can download version 0.8.8 from the orange 'Manage Portfolio' section at the top of this page and run it side-by-side with 0.8.7 and see if there are any issues. Just make a copy of your game before you open it with 0.8.8.

That way you can make sure everything is working before you make the switch.
