Opaque Blending

I haven't played around with it, but I was just wondering if anybody knew what the opaque blending look is?

    not sure what you are referring to. Is this something new in GS?

    there is no real reason to use it. it looks ugly. it is basically black around the image where an image is supposed to be transparent.
