    I think you cropped it too close. the gray fade out shows the square image edges.

    Yeh, thats a problem. But I have done that, just haven't uploaded it yet. :)

    It's simple. Tells nothing. I should see it in context and within the intended design environment.

    The text is too simple. Otherwise it looks not bad, but also nothing special. 5 minutes of work in Photoshop.

    Not bad. But I would like to suggest a very nice product called 'Art Text 2'. I don't think it is that expensive. It makes wonderful buttons, logos, and many other text like 'things' for our developer needs. Plus, and I checked with the company, anything you make with it is free to use. No need to worry about copyright issues.
